The most important part about a conference that claims to provide students with practical experience of negotiations is its ability to induce realism in the activity. INMUN provides this realism through the numerous foreign diplomats and dignitaries who visit each year and undertake an extensive dialogue about the issues under discussion. The speakers are forerunners in their field of politics, economics, arts, social work, public policy, international affairs etc. with decades of experience behind them. They are invited to discuss the various agendas being discussed to further enhance the knowledge of the students.
Secretary General, INMUN 2019
I indeed feel ecstatic as I hereby welcome you all to Indian Model United Nations 2019. INMUN, since it's inception, has instilled the skills of Diplomacy, Oratory and Knowledge about World Politics and Affairs in the tender minds of the students and helped them develop as individuals and responsible citizens of the future.
Hopefully, this edition of INMUN, like every year, will be able to enhance the wisdom and understanding residing in the minds of each and every participant, and encourage them to become a significant contributor in making the world a peaceful place for
all of us. I am confident that all participants will take back with them,
a truckload of beautiful memories and cherish them forever.
At last, I wish everyone the best of luck for the most magnificent MUN Conference of all time!
