All-India Political Parties’ Meet          (AIPPM)

Discussing the issue of Reservations in India

This is an issue in India that will always be relevant. A topic widely debated in the country and understood, making it easier for participants to relate to the portfolio or ideology they represent. The underlying theory for the provision of reservation by the state is the under-representation of the identifiable groups as a legacy of the Indian caste system. After India gained independence, the Constitution of India listed some erstwhile groups as Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), however the moles and lack of relevance in this theory would be the key debate in the committee.

Discussing the implications and applicability of Article 370 and Article 35 (A) of the Indian Constitution.

This has been an issue, which has been under the political limelight of India. From real to reel believer’s of political parties, it would be interesting to see participants embrace and understand these political and ulterior motives of political leaders and parties. The articles revolve around the fact that Article 35A of the Indian Constitution is an article that allows the Jammu and Kashmir state’s legislature to define “permanent resident” of the state. It was added to the Constitution through a Presidential Order, i.e. The Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954 – issued by the President of India on 14 May 1954, exercising the powers conferred by the clause (1) of the Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, and with the concurrence of the Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Now it is compelling to see that Article 35A was not added to the Constitution by following the procedure prescribed for amendment of the Constitution of India under Article 368. Article 370 does not anywhere confer on the President legislative or executive powers so vast that he can amend the Constitution or perform the function of Parliament. The topic provides room for a compelling discussion on a question facing the country today.

Message: Greetings, It gives me utmost delight as i write to you in the capacity of the Presiding Officer of The Futuristic Crisis Committee. In this one of a kind committee, we attempt to venture into the Future - 2025, working and debating on the possible scenarios that are projected to happen. It allows us to get a broader perspective of even the smallest of decisions taken and how they might affect the world at a much wider spectrum. The delegates are expected to steer through the changed dynamics of the world - politically, economically and socially among many others. This committee challenges the delegates by provoking their most logical and analytical side. Experiencing Future by the lengths of this committee allows us to have a comprehensive approach while dealing further dealing with World Issues. We hope to bring to you a peculiar experience that strengthens your knowledge and enriches your capacity to examine and contemplate. I hope to see you at the conference!
